The World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints is a world-class global sporting event with a difference: anyone can enter. All you need is a Concept 2 rowing machine and you could virtually race alongside the best of the best over 1000 metres to post the best possible time.
In the build-up to the event on March 7 – 11, we designed a competition logo to convey the virtual worldwide nature of the event and then worked with World Rowing to promote the event across social media. Using #ready2row we encouraged people all over the world to post pictures of themselves getting ready for the event in all kinds of weird and wonderful places, from the top of a Beetle car to a snowy slope. All to show you don’t need to be indoors to join in the indoor sprints!
