It’s been a busy month at Cravens, we’ve been out and about all around the country enjoying some incredible moments together!

1: Celebrating outstanding work from graduating students 🎉

This month our creatives have gone to three incredible degree shows. The Graphic Design Degree Show and Industry Design Degree Show at Northumbria Uni and an Advertising Degree Show in London where we came across an abundance of creative, innovative and one-of-a-kind work to be inspired by.

2: Shoot loads of fun 🎬

A smooth-running successful shoot day is what we love to hear from our team! We began by the sea in Ramsgate, filming three short  films to tackle bullying, domestic violence and knife crime for the Kent County Council Violence Reduction Unit.  It was a brilliant day where the sun shone bright, the fish and chips were delicious and the actors pulled out all the stops to deliver powerful performances. Later in the month, our team was up north in Trafford, Manchester to film for Cheshire Constabulary, aiming to tackle the issue of violence against women and girls. It really has been fantastic working on these meaningful campaigns that can have a positive impact in Kent and Cheshire’s communities.

3: Picking brains and wacky ideas 🧠💡

At the end of the month, our London team came up to Newcastle. The day started with photographer Matt Davis, who talked us through his portfolio. We had great fun picking Matt’s brains about his creative process,  brand work and award-winning passion projects.

For the rest of the morning, the team got together for a Creative Club session led by two of our junior creatives, Georgia and Amina, and it was unlike any other – for all the right reasons. This month we had plenty of laughs doing a team-building activity where we were given a random set of prompts to create as many ads as we could in 25 minutes. And we sure did deliver – creating a load of wacky, funny, and some very clever ads that we all got to present to one another.
