Wood and biomass as a renewable heating source has been getting some bad press recently. The concept of Carbon Debt has been confusing people into thinking that it is more polluting than it actually is.
The Wood Heat Association (WHA) approached Cravens to produce a film to show the bigger picture for this misunderstood renewable fuel, showing just how important biomass heating really is at a crucial time for the renewable energy sector. With the recent closure of the consultation on the future of Renewable Heat Incentive, the government is now making its final decisions on how renewable heat technologies will be funded up to 2021.
Those who know us well might also recognise the voiceover on the new film – none other than our Business Director, Melanie Schouw. No stranger to performing on stage, we think you’ll agree Mel’s warm and intelligent delivery lends the film an air of personality and authority perfect for the important message it conveys.
That wood heat is good heat for us all.
